Accomplishments

  • Title: INFLUENCE OF FRICTION STIR WELDING PROCESS PARAMETERS ON ALUMINUM ALLOY

  • Description: In this project I worked on friction stir welds, produced in 3mm tick plates of AA 6063-T4 aluminium alloy, with two different tools were analysed and compared concerning the mechanical properties

  • For each tool, the welding parameters were considered to achieve non- defective welds
  • The welds produced were classified as “hot” and “cold” welds
  • The cold welds, obtained with the minimum tool rotation speed and maximum traverse speed, have improved mechanical properties to the hot welds that were in undermatch condition relative to the base material

  • Title: MODELING AND ANALYSIS OF PRESSURE VESSEL


    Description: The project deals with the structural analysis of a horizontal pressure vessel for canister testing is performed where stress distribution and deflection are taken as major factors and we use ANSYS software for this analysis

    Title: CFD ANALYSIS OF HELICAL COIL OF HEAT EXCHANGER


    Description: This project is an attempt that made to analyse parallel flow through helical tube, where cold fluid flows in inner tube and outer tube contains hot fluid

  • Different dimensions of helical coil parameters are taken into consideration for this analysis.
