• Responsible for serving food and beverages, including the operation of a barista-style coffee machine, in an efficient and timely manner whilst maintaining excellent personable customer service.
• Utilize my RSA qualification to responsibly handle/serve beverages with strict adherence to customer safety and RSA licensing laws.
• Oversee numerous additional tasks including guiding new and junior staff, managing closing duties, reconciling cash and credit card transactions, and restocking items.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment whilst collaborating with other team members.

During this period, I participated as a volunteer at EV Church where childcare programs were provided for ages 6 months - 12 years on Sunday mornings while parents attended Church. This volunteer organisation not only provided care for the children for 1.5 hours during adult Church service, but also enabled children to be welcomed into an educational and fun environment every weekend.

This role included tasks such as:

• Caring for and supervising the age group 1-3 years from 8.30am-10.00am to provide stimulating, educational and creative activities.
• Communicating with parents on drop-off and pick-up about children's activities, behaviour, needs or allergies.
• Assisting young children in the bathroom when needed and frequently changing younger children's diapers or dirty clothes when necessary, while also maintaining sanitation for the child and myself.

• My tasks during this period were similar to my current role and included a moderate amount of cooking, stock management, customer service, safe food storage and preparation.
