My name is Charli Lombardo, I'm a 17 years old recent graduate from St Stephens School, Duncraig. On a typical day, you'll likely find me enjoying the beach, exploring shops, cooking, or dining out with my friends and family. While I certainly embrace my fun and outgoing side, I've always been taught the importance of education and as I continue my schooling and potential university admissions, I spend a significant portion of my day studying and expanding my knowledge in various subjects.
I have spent a large portion of my first 3 years in the work place working at a small Kids play centre known as Little Land. This experience granted me the valuable opportunity to gain insights into the operations of a small business and to build the abilities required to collaborate efficiently and effectively with my colleagues. Since then I have worked a small time at a local Cafe at a Caravan Park known as Karrinyup Waters. Additionally, I independently pursued and successfully obtained a Certificate 2 in Hospitality during my time at school. Over the past two years, I've also been actively engaged as a babysitter, providing childcare services to local families in my area. These diverse experiences have allowed me to further develop my skills and continue my personal and professional growth
I also gained valuable experience during a week of work placement at St. Luke's Primary School. During this time, I had the opportunity to shadow three different classrooms and provide support in various educational activities and tasks. Finally, I spent a portion of my year 10 on a school service learning tour in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. During this unforgettable experience, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in the unique culture, history, and environment of the Kimberley, gaining a deep appreciation for this remarkable part of our country.
I dream one day to be a certified Midwife or potentially working to becoming a Fertility Specialist, helping families and delving into the complex and fascinating realm of reproductive health.
I believe that I am a fun, creative, and passionate individual with the ability to to approach challenges with an open mind and find innovative solutions however can recognise when I am at fault and am always open to learn from those more experienced and expertise than I do.
