Summary

I live in Gisborne South and am 19 years old. Over the last 2 years and 7 months I have been working and studying in Carpentry. My experience has been in the residential volume building industry focussed on prefab and stick build framing (as well as some external lock up work). Whilst I have enjoyed this experience and learned a number of key skills, I am keen to further my knowledge and skills in other areas of Carpentry. I have also acquired a number of my own power tools and nail bag etc. I am currently attending Victoria University in full week blocks, six times a year (i.e. 6 weeks each year). I am a 3rd year in my schooling and 2nd year apprentice on site moving to 3rd year in September 2024.
