I have had the pleasure of knowing Charlie Bristo through his involvement at Dianella Junior Soccer Club over the past year. Due to the club, not being able to fill a team for his age group, Charlie still wanted to be involved in the club and offered to assist me in coaching a junior team. In addition, he volunteered to umpire our home games, a job normally undertaken by a reluctant parent. Rain, hail or shine it was great to see a young adult turn up every week and honour a commitment he gave at the beginning of the season. It was also pleasing to see through his umpiring the encouragement he gave to the players along with his confidence in his decision-making process. I wish him all the best and see him as a reliable person that any business would benefit from.
