M9 Winchburgh Junction (A$78,000,000)\

  • Contributed to the construction of a new highway junction to support the development of 3,800 homes and 40 acres of business/retail space as part of the Winchburgh Masterplan.
  • Assisted in bulk earthworks using 9,000m³ of imported lightweight expanded clay aggregate (LECA) to construct two slip road embankments, providing a cost-effective solution for weak ground conditions.

Winchburgh Town Centre and Union Canal Bridge (A$16,000,000)

  • Key involvements in bridge works: sheet piling, bored piling, formwork, concrete pours, the installation of wing walls and precast concrete assemblies of the bridge components.
  • Treated site won soil with cement to improve physical properties to form a road a 22,000m³ embankment. Implemented the use of a GPS bulldozer to ensure precise shaping.
  • Oversaw the installation of foul/stormwater drainage systems using pipes ranging between 150–1500mm diameter up to depths of 5m and the construction of a SuDS pond.
  • Led marina and town centre developments, installing pontoons, retaining walls, fuel interceptors, street paving and street furniture.
  • Coordinated the installation of services, including mini substations, HV/LV electricity, low/medium pressure gas, water, street lighting, telecommunications, and traffic signals while managing subcontractors and safely working around live services.

Denny Eastern Access Road (A$14,000,000)

  • Played a key role in delivering a 1.2km bypass road and roundabout three months ahead of schedule and significantly within budget.
  • Oversaw road and footpath construction, bulk earthworks, kerbing, road markings and signage.
  • Managed the temporary diversion of a stream to construct a box culvert, open channel and underground drainage, SuDS ponds, hydro-brake chambers, alongside the installation of combined drainage kerbs.
  • Supervised landscaping works, including hydroseeding and planting various woodlands and grasslands, as well as establishing temporary footpath diversions to maintain public access.

Winchburgh Block GG (A$2,400,000)

  • Managed site servicing operations for future housing development, including the installation of services, drainage systems, road upgrades, as well as a 1km remote footpath.
  • Established traffic management plans to ensure safe work conditions on live roads.
  • Coordinated with ecologists to protect sensitive woodland areas, manage tree felling, control the removal of invasive plant species, and safely use heavy machinery near protected badger habitats.
  • Established strong client relationship over multiple jobs in Winchburgh.
