Culturally and Linguistically Diverse client (CALD) resources 

These resources have been compiled to assist Child and Family Health Nurses (CFHNs) in creating a culturally safe environment by providing clear pathways to suitable resources for practitioners to support CALD clients to access culturally appropriate information.


When they walk in the door campaign

The development of a guideline supporting the actions CHaPS clinicians will need to do when clients come from their appointments. This will be guided by the statewide protocol and needs to ensure consistency with the national standards. The aim of this project is to reduce cases of vital information being missed in the statistics and improve safety.
