An extremely competitive person with a successful career in the sport of Surf Boat Rowing and Surf Life Saving, spanning 25 years. I have also successfully coached teams and held senior administration positions in multiple sports. I own and run a 400-acre cattle farm in central Victoria. I am a single father, and have successfully raised a daughter who is in her final years at school. A personal achievement I am very proud of.

Notable career achievements

  • As Sales Director of The Canteen Hub I have developed a small state based single supply platform into a national aggregator with multiple vendors and over 32,000 students registered, delivering in excess of 150,000 lunches a year. Supplying 150 schools and am preparing our school lunch program for international release with an international food partner.
  • As Head of Business and Product Development at Agersens, I led the business through a highly successful global product release of an ‘Internet of Things’, GPS enabled device worn by livestock with capacity for farmers to fence, move or monitor livestock from anywhere in the world. The innovative product was the first of its kind. I established markets in Australia, New Zealand, USA, United Kingdom, Canada and the Netherlands. I spearheaded the strategy and marketing to secure investor buy-out valuing the company at over $50M.
  • As Brownes National Retail Sales Manager, I created the strategy to develop a national retail product re-launch, using a broad footprint and unique financial system for retail partners Coles and Woolworths and created Brownes first long-term product partnership with Aldi nationally. Developed new and innovative products for retail markets with focus on consumer need and high value nutrition.
  • As Senior National Account Manager at Heinz, I led and established new product development projects and nurtured strong business relationships with National retail partners, managing the perishable business unit with a value of $80M. Successfully relaunched and repackaged the frozen vegetable business, using packaging innovation leading to Heinz Vegetables being voted as the most trusted brand among consumers in Australia.
  • As National Account Manager for Woolworths at Fonterra, I developed, launched and drove the CalciYum brand of fresh flavoured milks to consumers achieving $15 million in new brand sales in the first year and being nominated for ‘Best New Product in Retail’. I managed all fresh milk into Woolworths Nationally. Total brand portfolio $35m
