Material Logistic Officer

 Overseeing movement and coordination of materials to meet delivery targets on site, during shut

downs, developing and implementing actionable improvements to increase inventory

replenishment efficiency and reduce downtime

 Operating HR Trucks, LVs and 2 – 16 tonne forklifts and telehandlers to cart materials and

equipment, performing vehicle and machinery prestarts, checking fluids, battery levels, mirrors,

lights, indicators and communications systems, reporting any maintenance issues immediately

 Utilising effective two-way radio communication with all operators always working within a team

environment ensuring the safety of all members on site

 Effectively working closely with the client, management, operators and stores, within an

operational and liaising capacity, displaying strong communication skills both verbally and written

 Undertaking physical manual labour, lifting in excess of 30KG, following correct manual handling

techniques when performing manual labour, lifting and moving materials and equipment

 Loading and strapping goods and machinery onto the trucks before leaving the site and ensuring

that the straps are wrapped and secure as per load restraint guidelines

 Effectively liaising with client representatives and management as well as organising materials to

coordinate work, provide updates on job progression and relay any safety information whilst

ensuring all work is completed in a cost-effective and timely manner as per KPI objectives

 Following personal lock holder procedures including lock-on and tag out before commencing

works and isolating whilst undertaking work with operational machinery

 Actively contributed with operational and safety improvement ideas at toolbox meetings

 Maintained strict compliance with safety rules and regulations including JHA’s, AHA’s, SWMS’s,

permit to works, hazard identification and reporting whilst promoting a safe working environment

that is incident and injury free
