
I normally work on my own as a shearers cook and i can work under pressure and in a fast paced environment calming and effectively. Cooking from 5-33 people daily including 3 main meals, 2 smokos and sweets/deserts. I work well within a budget and serving delicious nutritious meals, as well as using leftover food creatively to minimise wastage.
I am experienced in Food ordering, planning, stocking and preparation. I am good with improvising and following a timeline. I am use to the long days standing and going above and beyond to satisfy.
I am currently a shearers cook where I have undertaken many duties such as..
* determining and working within a budget
* ordering and Picking up the food supplies
* working out meal plans and what food to order
* cook breakfast, morning and afternoon smokos, lunches and dinner with sweets
* cooked up to 33 people, 5 meals a day
* packed lunches for crutching trailer jobs
* clean kitchen and amenities etc
