

I am a passionate teacher with enthusiasm in fostering and instructing students. I am able to motivate students by creating a welcoming classroom environment as well as effective teaching strategies. Some key features of my teaching career include implementation of dynamic educational framework and designing age-appropriate primary school curricular goals and concepts. I am a dependable Teacher with 39 years of experience delivering educational assistance and instruction to various levels of learners. Throughout my teaching years I have been committed to providing students with necessary tools to achieve academic goals,and instilling love of learning and cooperative teamwork. I am an energetic and caring educator with proven skills in teaching Creative Arts students .Some of the following traits are important in every facet of teaching: keeping classrooms organized and students on-task to facilitate effective learning,being diligent and adaptable in meeting individual student needs with warm, safe educational environments. I consider myself to be dedicated to individualized student care and a compassionate Teacher with years of Creative Arts experience and extensive knowledge of Visual Arts. I am able to create dynamic and relevant lesson plans with goal-oriented mindset and commitment to long-term student growth and success.

I have always loved to draw and paint with various materials. I have exhibited in Art exhibitions ,sold some artworks and been involved in painting background murals for various festivals. When I am not engaged in this pastime I enjoy making knitted items.

*Resigned in 1985 due to a medical issue
*1986 - Became a Casual Teacher at Kitchener and Kearsley PS from 1986 - 1991
*Applied for RFF employment at Woodberry PS in 1991
*Became a Permanent - Part - Time RFF teacher in 1993 at Woodberry PS
*2003 - 2009 - Became a RFF Teacher at Tarro PS 1day/week as well as Woodberry PS
*Taught Visual Arts to all of the Woodberry classes in 2004 till 2008
*2008 - Transferred to Morpeth PS for 2 days /week.Still taught at Woodberry PS for 1/week.
*2008 - 2018 Morpeth - Years K - 6 and Creative Arts.* 2021 - Resumed Casual Teaching
