* Animal Management;
- Respond to requests of lost, straying and unwanted animals.
- Conduct patrols of the city for the purpose of straying animals and assist in the corrective action of breaches and applications of knowledge of legislation.
- Dog attack/menacing investigations, reporting, preparing legal documentation involving cases, compliances and inspections.
- General administrative support, including; telephone enquires, email requests from the community, and providing information to animal owners.
- Follow up on overdue and unregistered animal registrations and assist in the corrective action for non-compliance.
- Penalty infringement notices issued were required using autocite.
- identify sick animals and liaison with the RSPCA for the correct treatment of the animals.
- Livestock control/ management and compliance within the LGA, liaise with the property owners to ensure compliance is meet.
Other Duities Include:
* Local Law Enforcement - Assist in the processing of applications, administration and enforcement of the various Act, regulation and Local Laws and state laws
* Traffic Management - Issue parking infringements when required and
impound abandoned vehicles.
* Overgrown and Unsightly Properties - Patrol the shire to insure properties are of a reasonably standard as per the LGA, Issue compliance notices when required.
* Illegal Dumping and Environmental Management - patrol and report illegal dumping, using the RID app, issuing compliance were required.
Responsibility:
* Animal Management;

- Assist in animal pound duties - Administrative duties, animal husbandry, animal welfare, dog exercise, produce and stock control.
- Conduct patrols of the city for the purpose of straying animals and assist in the corrective action of breaches and applications of knowledge of legislation.
- Dog attack/menacing investigations, reporting, preparing legal documentation involving cases, compliances and inspections.
- General administrative support, including; telephone enquires, email requests from the community, and providing information to animal owners.
- Follow up on overdue and unregistered animal registrations and assist in the corrective action for non-compliance.

- identify sick animals and liaison with the council veterinarian for the correct treatment of the animals.
- Conduct with euthanasia when required.

* Biosecurity - Currently training in this Act.
