I took part in woolhandling, pressing and penning up sheep until i started shearing in august of 2022 and then moved on in july 2023

The handling and breaking in of young horses and to be taken to sales, alongside the campaigning of them aswell and particupation in the breeding program, some of the jobs including rugging and feeding everyday, breaking in, weaning show and sale prep, branding and castration of young horses. all of this being acheived aswell as working for mr bell on his property.

This was a family owned operation that varied from Gingkin Nsw to bourke Nsw, the animal husbandry of sheep, goats cattle and as well as some cropping at a property at Nyngan Nsw. I traveled inbetween them all to check on livestock, animal husbandry,waters and paddock rotation and fencing, and the harvesting of crops some of the mustering strategies used up at bourke was working underneath a helicopter (R22), or girocopter assisting in the mustering of feral cattle, and goats and commercial sheep and cattle, all mustering placing such as Gingkin,Bathurst and nyngan was done by fourwheeled motor bike or buggy.

Worked along side a team of 5 people where i instructed two persons as farms hands in everyday animal husbandry. on 6500 acres some of the tasks I instructed and took part of were paddock rotation of sheep and cattle, inducting and weighing of fat lambs and cattle, accessing livestock to fill contracts such as too (Coles) the milling of grain, filling up of feeders and making supplement mixes to meet the standards and needs of our livestock, using telehandlers and jaylour mixers, the cleaning of troughs and grain bunkers as well as machines such as tractors and bob cats, all mustering done on two wheel motor bikes,buggys and horses.

I built up a cliental along side my father in his business of breaking in horses and farrier as well as worked on the farm he managed as well as travelling day to day to new locations building relationships with people in the horse industry

Worked in a team and individually, in the livestock team over 54,000 acres of a mixed livestock operation of sheep and cattle, over all aspects of animal husbandry duties such as feeding, water runs, drenching, back lining, castration of lambs and calves, tagging and weighing of stud calves, fixing of broken pipes and fencing such as patching old fences and building new fences, mustering on a horse and motor (bike two wheeler and four wheel motor bike.) With a capable team of working dogs.

• Provided technical advice to farmers on best practices in crop production, animal husbandry, fertilization and pest control.
• Segregated animals according to weight, age, and physical condition.
• Feed and water livestock, monitor health conditions, inspect pastures and fencing for damage.
• Assisted with the breeding and raising of livestock, including calving and lambing.
