Working on various Rio Tinto sites in the Pilbara installing transportable buildings and completing the complexing works to make the buildings presentable. Tasks include:

• setting out,manufacturing and installing formwork.

•building sub-floor frames and installing floating floors and timber decking.

• preforming fit-out works such as skirting, architrave and hanging doors

•Erect steel for large patio areas.

• ability to read, interpret and implement complex plans, drawings and technical specifications

• Identifying and assessing hazards and implementing controls to provide a safe work environment, demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and compliance to WHS regulatory requirements.

• Currently working on George Weston Foods stock feeder project located in Hope Valley.
• Duties include working at heights from EWPs for steel erection, installation of purlins,girts and bridging, installation of stairs, handrails, checker plate and grid mesh on various levels.
• use of terfors,comalongs and chain blocks, assist with mechanical installs.
• Franna operation.
• Dogman on cranes from 20t to 250t.

• Located at Rio Tinto Mesa A and J mine site, this position required detailed duties as a Formwork Carpenter on a
• FIFO roster, tasks ranged in contributing to the workplace environment through assertiveness and developed awareness of potential hazards and management of work related duties whilst implementing all policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with best practice procedures, engage in manual handling tasks, using hand and power tools, peri forms, tying steel and assisting with the concrete pours, conducting measurements and cutting, stapling, nailing, screwing and bolting together parts of wood to create framework of buildings and structures, tasks also required mentoring and coaching team members, display of leadership skills, sharing of knowledge and experience, development of interpersonal and communication skills, and displaying the ability to conduct self-reflective practice in contributing to ongoing professional development within the field.

• Oil & Gas refinery on the civil team, working 10 hr days with tasks such as cutting and assembling, formwork, pre-cast, steel fixing, grouting, pouring and finishing concrete
• Reading and interpreting plans with calculations for excavation and footing levels
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to follow site safety procedures that include following a permit system, identifying hazards and understanding evacuation procedures
• Another safety requirement of BP is the compulsory uniform that consist of fire retardant overalls with gas monitors in red zones at all times.

• Working 10-12hrs per day, this job required contracting to Breeze Water to do a refurbishment of the cooling towers at Synergy’s power outage
• The duties include working at heights with 100% hook up at all times, measuring, cutting and replacing joist, installing air tight trimmers, pull up and replace tongue and grove ply flooring, landing and bolting down the new flumes
• Completing risk assessments before each job and reading through and signing onto a Job Hazard Analysis at the start of every shift

• Full night time 12hr shift work, employed as a carpenter within oil and gas construction, proven ability to work as a team member and/or within an autonomous framework, high level of proficiency in a wide range of air, hand and power tools, ability to read, interpret and implement complex plans, drawings and technical specifications, ability to organise, plan and prioritise procedures for heavy workloads to maximise output and deliver required outcomes (safety, quality, timeframe), thorough knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and workplace application, widely experienced in conducting site assessments, identifying and assessing hazards and implementing controls to provide a safe work environment, demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and compliance to WHS regulatory requirements, duties included all aspects of formwork, pouring and cutting back grout, prepare surface for pour and grouting, scabbling, grouting conduct over complete site including tanks pumps base plates, vessel and any object that touches the earth.
