Additional Information
For the past 15 years I have worked in the transport and logistics industry. Operating trucks and carrying out delivers mainly of furniture . Since 2017 I have been self employed creating my own business “CanCare Transport & Removals”. I cover all aspects of the business , driver operator , truck loading , email correspondence, marketing , book keeping , payroll and vehicle maintenance. Our main operation is local home and office relocations however we also work along side interior design company’s delivering furniture for new display homes and homes that are on the market . Cancare Transport has been a successful business and great experience however I’m looking to gain new skills and experience ideally in the mining industry. I’m always eager to learn new skills and enjoy a good challenge .
I boxed competitively for five years , becoming the Auckland and Waikato light welterweight champion, I’ve also competed in the golden glove championship winning the runner up award twice . Prior to this I spent many years playing rugby and rugby league , I was also the cross country champion in my younger years . Im very ambitious in whatever task is at hand and take pride in what I do . My hobbies are outdoor activities, camping , fishing . I also have a love for automotive and vehicle restoration . I consider myself mechanically minded and very hands on .
