Summary

With 20 years of experience in diverse healthcare settings, I began my nursing career in cardiac care at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. After gaining valuable experience for 2 years, I worked as a Nurse in the Philippines, providing care in a school and medical clinic outside of Manila. Upon returning to Australia, I resumed my role in cardiac care at the Alfred Hospital, where I also developed leadership skills. While balancing family responsibilities, I transitioned into General Practice and became a Nurse Immuniser, enhancing my expertise with a post-graduate certificate in Primary Care. For a decade, I thrived in General Practice until an exciting opportunity arose to serve as an Associate Nurse Manager with Monash Health in COVID immunization clinics. Over the past 3 years, I have specialized in trauma-informed care, health education, and immunization for priority populations. Throughout my 20-year practice, I have had the privilege of working in various teams and areas including hospitals, communities, and general practice. My unwavering passion for learning and professional development drives me to provide high-quality healthcare access to our patients.
