Self-Employed Business Owner specializing in children's clothing and jewelry sales at markets and local stores. Demonstrated strong customer service skills through effective engagement and resolution of concerns, while efficiently managing financial operations in a retail environment. Committed to fostering positive customer relationships and achieving key performance indicators through multitasking and prioritization.
Currently I am self employed in my small Business called Lil trendz where I sew a variety of small childrens clothing and attend markets in order to sell them. I also make jewlery and sell them at markets and small collective stores. Over the last 20 years I have worked in roles that have required a high level of prioritization of my daily work. While employed by Woolworths I was responsible for a number of tasks through out the day. These ranged from customer service on the checkouts and balancing the stores takings while providing financial support to the 22 checkout operators. I had to ensure cash holdings where kept to a minimum while ensuring customer service was maintained. The retail environment can be challenging and exciting with a number of priorities to complete on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. In my previous role I was responsible for the management of staff, organizing donations as they arrive and ensuring we met our key performance indicators (KPI’s). The roles I have undertaken over the last 20 years all involve dealing with people at different levels. While working with Bank SA I dealt with customers on the counter and in one on one situations. I was responsible for the resolution of their concerns and always ensured these were rectified or that I referred them to the appropriate area. By engaging with my customer in conversation I was able to identify sales opportunities. This included offering them the appropriate product to meet their needs. These products included, insurance, loans and other services. I believe while working in customer service environments I have developed excellent skills in dealing with the concerns of customers and the public in the roles I have undertaken. I have worked for Telstra, Woolworths, Bank SA, Suzanne Grae, Salvos Stores and Medical One who all have their own unique computer systems. I feel that I have the ability to learn new computer systems quite easily. During my time at Bank SA I competed a Certificate 3 in Finance Administration. Customer service is extremely important to me and I therefore I treat all patients with respect, courtesy and empathy. I am often acknowledged for my outstanding approach to customer service. Working in a retail environment I have developed excellent skills and I have a happy and friendly approach, understanding that a happy patient means a return of their business.
