I am a professional electrical engineer with over 14 years of experience in the power utility sector, specializing in the installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of medium voltage (11kV & 33kV) and low voltage (415V) distribution networks. My expertise extends to 11kV and 33kV distribution transformers, high voltage (132kV) transmission lines, 132/33kV power transformers, and associated substation equipment. I am well-versed in conducting factory and site acceptance tests for distribution and transmission line materials, as well as substation equipment. Currently, I am pursuing a Doctor of Engineering at the Engineering Institute of Technology in Western Australia. I hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the College of Science & Technology, Royal University of Bhutan, and a master's degree in Renewable and Sustainable Energy from Murdoch University, Western Australia. My professional background includes extensive work in rural electrification, transmission line, and substation projects, with a strong foundation in safety, quality management, ISO compliance, and the development of business and technological solutions. I am now seeking a challenging role where I can apply my expertise to drive sustainable innovation in the evolving energy industry.
