I worked all round at Parklands Tavern. Greeting customers, clearing the floor, running food & drinks, handheld table service, serving & cleaning in the bar, making cocktails, operating Tab & Keno in the sports bar, making coffees, supported many functions and worked in the gaming room. This required me to understand how to fix machine & card issues, remembering many drinks at once during busy service, remembering regulars' drink orders, I also handled many sensitive situations, including addressing intoxicated guests or disputes among patrons. During my time at Parklands Tavern I built strong relationships with the regular customers and delivered great customer service.

I studied as a trainee educator at Pelican's Nest. During my time here I got to experience many different roles working with ages 9 months to 6 years old. I was the assistant educator in the Pre-Kindy room for some months. When the lead educator was away or off the floor I lead the classroom, supporting the children in transitions, I was required to teach and practice strict proper hygiene, I delegated jobs to other educators. I planned, organised and supplied resources for activities based on the children's interests. I provided individualised instruction and support to meet personal needs of each child. I also worked for some months in an ISS role. This role required me to work one on one with children with disabilities and meeting with their therapists weekly at the centre. I had very positive relationships with the children & parents. I would usually spend my breaktimes planning or printing the next activity and would stay back during unpaid hours to assist in things like changing rooms around, setting up events for the children, chatting to parents, assist other educators, etc. I am currently still completing my studies.

Here I was required to take orders on till, pack food orders, prep salads, prep food to be fried, make burgers, grilled food and cook chips. I would also do dishes and cleaning jobs.

Here I was required to write up jobs, send off bills, complete invoices, filing, answer phone calls, give quotes, measure up job sites, etc.

I worked as a junior crew member at McDonalds where i was required to greet customers, take orders and make fries.
