MCDONALD'S MINDARIE
08.2021 - Current

My current casual job is at McDonald's, working here I have learnt many key aspects to bring forward with me to the workforce. Through McDonald's I have learnt how working in a team is crucial to performance, just as much as being able to work alone. Having preexisting experience of customer service from my other jobs, McDonald's was a job where good customer service was detrimental, whether it be dealing with complaints, giving refunds, or just helping someone choose their meal – all of these were dealt with professionally, kindly and efficiently.

Included in my role here was:

  • Using a register to take payments such as cash out, card payments and giving change
  • Café course where I learnt how to use the barista’s machine and make coffees
  • Our store has ranked #1 in many comps, and it is a highly fast-paced job where you need to be able to pick up and learn as you go
  • You are to multitask, take orders whilst cashing cars and then being able to go help with front
  • Organized and restocked supplies to support operations and team productivity
  • Maintained high standards of customer service during high-volume work shifts and fast-paced operations
  • Received "Crew of the Month" July 2023
  • Received "Rookie of the Month" March 2023
