I am currently working for Morris Bros Real Estate in sales support/reception. My role includes greeting incoming visitors and customers professionally, confirming appointments communicated with clients, and updating client records, answering the phone promptly and directing incoming calls to correct colleagues, handling cash transactions and maintained sales and payments records accurately, responding to inquiries from callers seeking information, Corresponding with clients through email, telephone, or postal mail. As well as managing website, uploading new sale and renting listings, managing social media pages and sales appraisals.
Working for Barenbrug Australia as a farm operations assistant my role required a high level of attention to detail as I am continuously entering data to ensure we are able to give our customer the correct information we have collected. As well as Inspecting crops for signs of disease and pests, reporting findings to supervisor. Organising and maintaining agricultural equipment, such as tractors and harvesters. Harvesting trials at the appropriate time, ensuring quality control standards are met. Recording data on planting activities such as seed varieties used, fertilising amendments, dates planted and harvested. Barenbrug has helped provide me with additional knowledge in pastures and plant varieties as well as problem solving.
Previously I was part of the team at Yenda Producers. Working at Yenda has excelled my knowledge in rural merchandise, processing sales as well as processing special orders for out-of-stock items when necessary. Doing deliveries, as well as providing customer service by answering questions, resolving problems, and responding to complaints in a timely manner. In doing so it has given me effective communication and interpersonal skills that I bring to any role.
Whilst working at the Wangaratta Jewellers. I developed my skills and confidence in the customer service role. I was also responsible for repairs, maintenance and orders. As well as Greeting customers and providing assistance with product selection, Assisted in creating displays to promote products, Performed cashier duties such as processing payments, and issuing receipts or change due.
Whilst working at my family farm I have learned skills which provided me with valuable knowledge needed to understand breeding programs, handle, and care for livestock as well as the everyday needs of the farm. My communication skills are exceptional and enable me to communicate with agronomists, livestock agents, vets, and agriculture consultants.
These discussions have enhanced my knowledge and understanding in cropping and pastures, operating machinery and the use of chemicals.
Whilst completing year 11, I studied my certificate III In Agriculture. My work placement during this time was with Corcoran and Parker in a school- based apprenticeship capacity. Here I completed tasks such as drafting cattle, drenching, marking, and mouthing cattle and clerking the sale. I was lucky enough to be exposed to many people who have great expertise, knowledge, and experience.
I worked in retail at the Milawa Cheese Company. My responsibilities were handling customer sales, building knowledge in a variety of products, conducting cheese tasting, cutting, and wrapping cheeses and simple cleaning tasks. Through developing these skills, I believe it has allowed me to learn working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and interacting with a large number of people.
