I am a 17 year old student at mercy saint angelo mercy college in year 12. I enjoy engaging in a range of extracurricular school activity including afl, netball, MAG (mercy action group) and SRC (student representative council). I have a range of experience in a range of different workplace roles, including waitressing, coaching and babysitting. My experiences have given me valuable teamwork, cooperation, problem solving, communication and leadership skills. I also have gained valuable insights from babysitting and coaching specifically on how to coach and support young children in a structured and fun environment.
Skills I have that I feel would be beneficial to the gap role, include my extensive experience working with young children as both a babysitter and a netball coach My leadership and collaboration skills gained from being on the student representative council creating initiatives to implement in the school community, to make our school environment more inclusive and fun Being on Monte 1 netball and afl and learning valuable discipline and teamwork I feel all these skills greatly prepare me to work with others and foster a supportive, fun environment for children to grow during their school experience
