Oversee patron safety through active supervision, consistent enforcement of regulations, and rapid, appropriate responses to potential emergencies. The role has demanded a high level of vigilance, situational awareness, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. In doing so, I have developed strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and resilience, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all facility users.I communicate safety information clearly to patrons from diverse backgrounds, many of whom have limited water safety knowledge, adapting my approach to ensure understanding and confidence.

Deliver engaging swim lessons that build technique, endurance, and water awareness across a wide range of age groups. I prioritise safety and clear communication while using encouragement and positive feedback to support swimmer development. I also participate in staff meetings and training sessions to refine my teaching methods.

Provide high-quality swimming instruction to children as well as adults with a focus on skill development, confidence building and water safety. Adapt lessons to meet diverse abilities and learning styles while fostering a safe, supportive and engaging environment.
