As an Early Childhood Educator, I want to make a positive impact on the future generations and help provide a fun and nurturing learning environment. I want my students to feel safe and valued in my classroom and go home knowing that they are loved. I hope that working underneath an experience Bachelor teacher will help increase my own knowledge and skills, making me a better educator.

In the kindergarten room I currently work in I have been able to gain experience with running group times and activities. I have also learnt to do IEP's, plan and organise classroom activities and do thorough learning stories. I also have experience as an Activity Group Leader when room leaders have been absent and I was able to step up to the plate and continue the the classroom running smoothly.  I strongly believe I would be an asset to any kindergarten whilst I study towards my bachelor and further my education.

I find my best attribute to be my big and bubbly personality. As this allows me to get involved with the children and better understand their perspectives. I think this aspect makes me a better educator and allows me to make better relationships with the children. I have always been able to form relationships with the children in my care as well as their families and my co-educators. I am a confident person and have always been able to perform well under pressure and act in stressful situations that need quick reactions.
