• Developing, implementing, and maintaining systems of work which ensure compliance with applicable legislative, regulatory, related to transport and logistics such as Chain of Responsibility (COR) legislation/regulation.
• Provide leadership to the Supply staff including Purchasing Officer, Team Leader and Supply Officers across two locations on the site. Ensuring all aspects of Warehousing and Logistics are carried out in line with company policy and legislation. Ensuring continuous supply and warehousing activities occur 7 days a week to support the mine operation.
• Developing and leading the execution of business continuity plans as related to the supply and transport of critical operational commodities and services.

Ivanhoe Australia's Mt Dore mine site was an exploration site when I was employed. The company were going through the process of becoming a mining operation and there was no systems and processes in place for warehousing, purchasing and procurement at this time for the Supply Department.

Activities

• The development implementation and management of daily freight and logistics activities to and from the mine site.
• Providing leadership in the safe execution of all warehousing and logistics activities across Mt Dore minesite.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining systems of work including safe work procedures which ensure compliance with applicable legislative, regulatory obligations.
• Provide leadership to the Supply staff including a Purchasing Officer and Supply Officers

Argyle Diamond Mine was situated in the remote Kimberly region of Western Australia. Argyle became one of the worlds biggest producers of Diamonds prior to closure in 2020.

• Providing leadership in the safe execution of all warehousing and logistics activities across Argyle minesite.
• The development and management of daily freight and logistics activities to and from the mine site. This consisted of 3 triple road trains of general goods and materials 6 days a week.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining systems of work which ensure compliance with applicable legislative, regulatory, related to transport and logistics.
• Provide leadership to the Supply staff including two Inventory Specialists, two team leaders and some 26 warehouse operators.
• Ensuring all aspects of Warehousing and Logistics are carried out in line with company policy and legislation. Ensuring continuous supply and warehousing activities occur 7 days a week to support the mine operation.
• Developing and leading the execution of business continuity plans as related to the supply and transport of critical operational commodities and services.

Cawes Nickel Operations is a High Pressure Acid Leach nickel laterite operation located 45 kilometres North of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The nickel produced at Cawes was shipped to Europe where is was further refined and used in various industrial applications.

• Providing leadership in the safe execution of all warehousing and logistics activities across Cawes minesite including contractor management and oversite of bulk reagent deliveries to site
• The development and management of daily freight and logistics activities to and from the mine site.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining safe systems of work which ensure compliance with applicable legislative, regulatory, related to transport and logistics.
• Provide leadership to the Supply staff including Purchasing Officer, Team Leader and Supply Officers.
• Ensuring all aspects of Warehousing and Logistics are carried out in line with company policy and legislation.
