. Working closely with 3rd party providers and end user customers to conduct installation, from the head end throughout both UG (under ground) and OH (over head) networks to both businesses through an Ethernet network and to new building sites and residential areas through an NGA network.
. Carrying out on site risk assessments
. Providing a new and improved network with internal and external cabling, jointing of new cable routes and installation of new fibre nodes
. Installation testing and commissioning of new equipment at customers I.e
Distribution units and NTEs (network termination equipment)
. Following work plans and diagrams, replanning, surveying jobs when required and updating service desk of any changes to job packs.
. A 24/7 1 week on 4 weeks off on call service, to troubleshoot and amend faults within the network using OTDR creating minimum disruption.
