Summary

As a Manager, Supervisor, and Qualified Carpenter, I have20+ years of experience in the construction industry working on remote residential, commercial,l and infrastructure projects, new builds, renovations, and several large mine sites in Queensland and South Australia as well as Government Community Building Projects and Indigenous employment programs. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated the ability to manage and coordinate the delivery of maintenance and construction projects that meet clients' quality and value-for-money expectations while maximizing project profitability and guaranteeing client satisfaction. I have learned with experience and respect how to build strong working relationships. Much of my working life has been spent in remote communities alongside my wife, a Nurse. We enjoy all the people we meet and learn from and have a good understanding of the challenges people face. I bring a very respectful and thoughtful perspective to these relationships. I take pride in a conscious commitment to developing high-performing teams and assisting individuals to discover skills that exceed their expectations on achieving outstanding results for the team, organization, customer, and project outcome. My excellent communication and liaison skills see me develop and maintain robust partnerships with clients, contractors, staff, senior management, and stakeholders.
