Currently seeking opportunities to re-engage in a senior leadership role and the opportunity for continued personal and professional development.

I am a motivational and inspirational leader who is capable of coaching and empowering teaching staff, to assist them to accomplish their potential whilst ensuring they make a positive contribution to organisational objectives. I am a versatile and dynamic educational leader, with a successful background delivering significant improvements in standards of teaching and learning within a secondary setting. I am an innovative strategist, with a proven ability to positively influence policy, procedures and educational change, enabling a direct impact on student outcomes. I have excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills as well as a natural ability to develop partnerships, both strategic and personal, within the wider community.

• Leadership Challenge – Upon commencement as the Head of Wellbeing and Engagement at Horizons College in Jan 2023, I was tasked with implementing an official wellbeing role and program in the school and running the ACE (Arts Crafts and Excursions) program. The prior person in charge of this area was a social worker, not a teacher and programs and events were limited, uncoordinated and not lead or aligned to strategic goals and planning. • Leadership Challenge - Re-engaging students, Upon commencement of leading the Futures program in 2020, I observed the majority of students were not engaging in certificate courses. At the time, all subjects were Certificate II courses and there was significant duplication of learning. I was also challenged by the nature of the Futures campus being ‘off-site’ and somewhat, segregated from the main campus. Compounding the problem, was that the off-site facility had limited space and the resources needed to safely run many of the certificate courses that were being offered., What changes students suggested in 2020, Improved facilities and resources, More diverse range of subjects, Better integration with the main campus, Student Survey - changes to Futures in 2021, Improved engagement in certificate courses, More relevant and practical subjects, Better communication and support
