Bluff Point,WA

Summary

Over a long and varied maritime career, I have developed a strong marine skillset over a variety of vessels. I have a solid background in navigation and passage planning in remote waters and operating a vessel autonomously over extended periods and solving on-board problems with limited resources. In my more recent career as Pilot Boat Master I have taken a lead role in training, writing Vessel SMS and procedures and Emergency response, having actively participated in a number of Search and rescue and towage operations. I have developed a sound knowledge of the repairs and installation of Aids to Navigation through maintaining the Geraldton Port's AtoN's, with particular reference to SEALITE's range of products. I am soon to complete my AMSA Master < 500T and seek to further my career as Officer on larger vessels.
