Regional Senior Site Supervisor role responsible for overseeing all works from commencement to completion throughout SE Qld and Northern NSW. Role encompassed running my own portfolio of work whist also overseeing and assisting 6 other Supervisors/Estimators throughout the region. Site works primarily focused in the area of insurance repair with a number of Australia's most prominent insurance companies and loss adjusters, including IAG, Suncorp, QBE, Auto and General, Crawfords and NDIS.
Senior Role Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist 6 supervisors throughout the region. Offer guidance in job management both on site with clients and trades people, and in house utilising company and Insurers software management systems.
- Create agenda's and undertake fortnightly meetings surrounding role updates, KPI's and WHS compliance.
- Initiate and implement changes as directed by senior management.
- Actively step in to assist and address areas of escalation or conflict.
- Assist in estimation creation, report review and upload to meet each individual insurer requirement.
- Stand in as acting Regional Manager in absence of upper management.
- Utilise internal reporting software for job and cash flow management.
- Understand and proactively work to ensure KPI adherence for all aspects of claim management. Appointment setting, report submission, repair life time, completion.
- Thoroughly understand and ensure compliance with company procedure.
Supervisor/Estimator Role Responsibilities
- Complete initial onsite assessment compile report and SOW Estimate inline with relevant IC requirements.
- Review approved Scope of Works (SOW) to ensure it meets with the requirements of the job. Assess SOW and make amendments where required to suit the best repair method.
- Undertake onsite or virtual Dual assessments on complex claims or those under dispute.
- Actively problem solve, address, and create variation SOW and costing to works in the event of unforeseen damage.
- Supervise multiple sites over a large geographical area at one time.
- Understanding of QBCC and NSW home warranty insurance and guide to tolerances and standards.
- Extensive knowledge and use of industry software programs, Including Microsoft Office/Outlook, Gmail, Prime Ecosystems, In4mo, Endata, Opus, Repairline, Auto and General.
- Procurement and onboarding of relevant trades ensuring all necessary and relevant documents and licenses are in place.
- Prepare, allocate and issue work orders within budget and margin expectations.
- Create a job schedule to best meet with requirements of the homeowner and repair life KPIs.
- Liaise with relevant IC staff and loss adjusters to provide updates to works progression.
- Build, maintain and in selected circumstances redevelop relationships with the relevant stakeholder. Ensure thorough understanding of the repairs to be undertaken and provide ongoing updates to progress to completion.
- Deliver reports to company management to detail project updates and likely completion dates, noting delays and causes.
- Estimate and complete works from minor BAU to major loss complex claims including fire, flood rebuilds, major modifications in NDIS, and QBCC, ICARE rectification works.
- Engage with certifiers, engineers and building consultants on complex works.
- Seek relevant council and local government permits and approvals where required.
- Provide hands on assistance and guidance to trades where required.
- Undertake quality inspections throughout the duration of the job. Obtain final signed completion documents and customer surveys.
- Implemented site WHS procedures and verified workers wore appropriate PPE for the designated task.
- Prepare and submit all final completion documentation.
