I have a wealth of nursing and personal care experience in both acute and sub-acute environments, with a focus on post-operative and rehabilitation care for patients with challenging behaviors, particularly those with dementia and delirium. I excel in various nursing procedures, such as venipuncture, IV therapy, blood transfusions, wound dressings, critical thinking, time management, and work best within a team. Furthermore, I actively advocate for patient education and empowerment, creating a nurturing atmosphere throughout the entire care process.
I am a young female residing in the beachside town of Frankston. Recently, I completed my Diploma of Nursing and finished the Peninsula Health Enrolled Endorsed Nurse Graduate Program. During this program, I had the opportunity to rotate through an orthopedic ward and a sub-acute ward, where I provided care for elderly patients exhibiting behaviors of concern at The Mornington Centre. Additionally, I am pursuing my Bachelor of Nursing at Holmesglen. I have a strong passion for medical-surgical nursing, and my experiences at Peninsula Health have significantly contributed to my development as a competent and compassionate nurse. My career goals are to further my nursing passion by completing a post-graduate degree in medical-surgical nursing. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and op-shopping.
