Additional Information

I am passionate about working with the aged.

I have always gravitated to the aged; growing up in an extended family.

During my working years, I have maintained that rapport with the elderly. Hence my preference to work in Aged Care.

I started my working life in Aged Care in 1991, at Tinonee Gardens and that was a wonderful experience. I served 10 years and 9 months with that company. I had an amazing rapport with both the staff and residents. My first role with Tinonee Gardens was as an evening carer and later on I was moved into a day role of a Home Mangers, I obtained my Activities Certificate, with Hunter Volunteer Development Centre and in 1994, In 1994 I was promoted to an Activities Officer's role. I worked in that role; until I left in March 2002.

In 2002 I lived overseas and I worked as a Nanny and found my passion writing and wrote books.

Returning to Australia I worked with Australian Care Services. From 2008 to 2009.

In January of 2010 I joined Daughterly Care and worked for them until 2021.

I have an extensive hard copy of my certificates and achievements for your viewing.

I look forward to hearing from you in regards to an interview.

Kind Regards, Christine Cowin
