• Oversaw a consultancy to create and implement a 2-day training course on Recycled Water Management Plans statewide and managed its statewide delivery.

Integrated Water Management team (2001-02)

• Identified opportunities to integrate and reduce resource in Council’s water supply, wastewater, and stormwater operations.
• Designed Council’s inaugural rainwater tank policy and rebate scheme.
• Created householder guide for designing rainwater and installing rainwater tank systems.

State of Environment Reporting (1999-2001)

• Commissioned contributions for the 2001 report from 50 internal, external authors and advisory committees.
• Prepared chapters on the 'Urban Water Cycle,' 'Waste,' and 'Brisbane in 2030'.
• Managed production of an innovative interactive CD ROM report.

• Prepared reports and managed technical advice and recommendations for the Commission’s inquiries into the Clarence River and the Woronora River.
• Procured and managed expert advice on environmental, energy and economic issues through consultancies, field-based Expert Panels and workshops on environmental flow requirements.

• Progressed from (EPO2) to senior policy/project officer (EPO9) in several areas.
• Developed pollution control licenses for air and noise emissions in road and rail projects, compliance auditing.

• Aquatic and terrestrial environments; air, noise, and waste emissions in southern Sydney.
• To point out and diffuse sources of pollutants to the Hawkesbury-Nepean River catchment.

In an alliance of environmental NGOs undertaking a $1 million review of the ecological sustainbilityy of the operations of Sydney Water, the largest water authority in Australia

• With other NGOs, developed the scope, funding and contractual details for the review of Sydney Water's water supply and wastewater operations
• I evaluated and published a report environmental impacts in marine and estuarine areas.
• Contributed to the design and implementation of a major community consultation exercise in greater Sydney
• Planned and co-authored the final report of the NGO alliance.
