Christine Myerscough is an Australian Artist with a Master of Visual Arts majoring in Sculpture from Sydney College of the Arts. Her works are primarily in sculpture and installation and her art practice encompasses a range of media, including found objects as well as non objective art. Her photography informs all aspects of her art practice.
Previous site-specific works include her 2007 installation, A Delicate Balance 2007 at Sculpture in the Vineyards at Undercliff Winery in Wollombi, NSW.
Her recent series of assemblages were exhibited in the sixth edition of the International Biennial of Non Objective Art of the city of Pont de Claix (Isère-France) where 4 works were purchase by the City of Pont De Claix for their public collection and the remaining for artworks bought by a Private collector.
Her artworks have been exhibited in public and private galleries, artist-run initiatives and non-traditional art spaces since 1993 and her work is in Private and Public collections within Australia and Overseas. Christine’s studio is based at her South Coast home in Conjola National Park, NSW on Yuin Country.
