This position involved cleaning, ordering daily food stores for wards, assisting with some daily task with patients. I worked mainly in mental health wards and dementia the patients were mobile for most of the day.

This work involved cleaning patients rooms, general kitchen and staff areas and outside courtyards.

As these wards were nearly all secure wards we had to be aware of safety issues for both the patients and myself. i.e Never letting anyone in without higher permission, never leaving the trolly unattended etc

• Provided transportation for shopping trips or outings as requested by the client.
• Performed light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming and dusting.

This was a cold calling job arranging door knock collections for sids and other charities. We also sold raffle tickets for charities such as the gold coast hospital foundation, heart research and many other organizations in Australia
