Back in France, my profession was a car mechanic, but I used to cut my friends’ hair every weekend for 10 years, which is how I received most of my training. I arrived in Australia 6 years ago and continued cutting hair in backpacker hostels. 3 years ago, I decided to make it my profession. To achieve this, I found a barber shop in Gold Coast, Queensland, called “Ace Of Fade,” where I trained for 4 months. I learned about managing a barber shop, welcoming and preparing customers for various services, and mastering different haircut and beard trimming techniques.
After that, I moved to Cairns, Queensland, where I started to work at « shortys barber », who offered me the opportunity to take my first steps in the barber industry. I worked there for 8 months, gaining the necessary experience to become more professional and comfortable in any barber shop environment.
Following this experience, I decided to move to Melbourne, Victoria, where I continued my career at “Psalm91 Barber.” I spent a year there, learning new techniques, becoming more efficient, and managing the entire shop independently 2 days a week to achieve full autonomy.
