  • I got hired as a Food Service Team Member, which required me to prepare and cook all chicken that is to be sold by our. This position was all about speed and accuracy. Following procedure and getting chicken out and ready in time!
  • I was then cross-trained into Front of House, which is where I started to gain excellent customer service experience. It consisted of taking customers' orders and making sure that they have a satisfying experience at our KFC Restaurant. Another key factor for this job role was preparing people's orders and dispatching. You need to have very good communication with your coworkers and make sure that you are correctly handing out customers' orders to ensure that they have correctly received their order.
  • I was then trained in a new area, called Middle of House, which consisted of making burgers. This, like the other roles, took a lot of speed and accuracy. Most of all, being trained in Middle of House meant that I was a fully cross-trained team member. Which meant I was very reliable to managers and was able to help out in all possible situations.

  • I was part of the Back of House crew, which required me to prepare food orders, wash up, and adhere to the strict food hygiene requirements. The job required working together as a team, high attention to detail ( even during peak hour periods ) to ensure the order was prepared correctly and in a timely manner as well as following my manager's instructions.
  • During one evening shift, the store was short-staffed, and I was the only person preparing burgers from 5-7pm, which is the dinner rush. Our store was still ranked #1 on the time charts in NSW.
