I spent 15 months at my most recent employment which was Lifts UK. Generally working as 2 person team i assisted the lead engineer dismantling and Installing new Food/Goods and passenger lifts to enhance building accessibility. My day to day tasks included,

• The use Chain Block & Tackle to raise Pistons and guides into the shaft
• Working with Combi, Sds and Mag drills. Drilling into concrete, brick, mild and stainless steel
• Working with angle grinders for Cutting various materials
• Reading precise measurements and communicating with the lead engineer ensuring accurate installations.
• Driving 7.5 Ton dropside vehicle to building sites across the UK and manual handling of lift equipment to a secure location

Being here i achieved my CSCS card (White card equivalent) and completed a first aid course

I started work as a light vehicle mechanic after completing my GCSE's. this begun as a 2 year apprenticeship, the work was with my farther the owner. since completion i continued to work at Cutts autos part time alongside another part time position at a small car dealership nearby.

The work included

• Service of vehicles including the replacement spark plugs, cleaning of the brakes and a general health check of the vehicle
• Diagnosed malfunctions, resolved underlying problems quickly and efficiently.
• Customer repairs such as faulty alternators and starter motors to clutch replacement or suspension work
• Use of impact drivers and a torque wrench for speed and accuracy
• pre-sale inspections of cars

Working here i achieved my level 2 NVQ in light vehicle mechanics and a IMI level 1 in Hybrid/Electric vehicle awareness

I worked here as a class 2 lorry driver making long-haul deliveries of frozen goods across England, Scotland and Ireland. Here i had Managed long hours of driving, while maintaining high levels of concentration and safety.

my duties included,

• Daily vehicle inspection of roadworthy condition
• Executed loading and unloading of goods with electric pallet truck and tail lift
• Transported Frozen goods and liquids in line with delivery requirements.
• Keeping accurate driving hours records and complied with tachograph laws.
• Ensured delivery paperwork was accurately completed and processed after shifts.
