I have worked in my family business, Doyles Seafoods since I was 14. My duties were vast and different. Buying, cleaning and delivering seafood, cooking it and serving it. I also worked in the Bar and the Bottle Shop. Customer satisfaction was paramount.
Most of my free time was spent on the Harbour, messing around in boats. Either fishing or transporting friends and guests alike. I also maintained the boats, both engines and hulls.
Lately I have been involved in our family vineyard in the Hunter Valley but want to return to the sea.
To that end I have been to Sea School and had Deckhand jobs to attain the required formal qualifications.
