- I have been working for my family’s construction company every summer since 2015 and have build up a impressive set of skills in that time ranging from engaging with clients pre construction to maximise client satisfaction to driving telescopic handlers poring concrete foundations and putting up timber frames for housing.
- The work ranged from building domestic and industrial new builds refitting existing industrial and domestic buildings. We only brought subcontractors in for certain parts of the projects such as blocking laying plumbing and electrical work so I have picked up a very diverse but balance skill set from my time here.
- I have worked all over Ireland with many various disciplines which means I have the skills to work with many different people and disciplines and will know how to work with colleagues subcontractors and clients alike.
- I feel because of this experience with construction that I am more knowledgeable than other applicants my age And with the added benefit of my construction degree I feel both these experiences reflect off each other very well.

- Took part in the day to day management of (at the time ) one of Europes biggest construction project and the Irish states single largest construction project. This give me the skills and mindset to be able to work in a large project with a big team of multiple disciplines .
- Supervised team of 4 construction workers to maintain productivity and quality of work. This included supervising two crane crews.
- Managed project documentation including project meeting minutes , method statements, BIM models and various other work documents and plans.
- Played an integral role in promoting a safe and inclusive project site by taking part in construction site inspections, helping to facilitate the clearing of roadways and walkways by coordinating telescopic handlers and labourers , helping to direct daily standup meetings and making sure all health and safety rules for the project where being followed.

- I am good at working and have much experience in it thanks to my previous work experience I am also proficient in many important computing software’s such as Word, Excel, Revit, MS project and AutoCAD thanks to my time in ATU
- I have my white card and I also have a full driver license and am proficient in driving telescopic handlers and dumpers I am willing to get any tickets that will further my usefulness
- I have a good knowledge thanks to my eduction of construction industry safety practises and I take safety extremely seriously and thoroughly believe it is the number one priority of any employee
- I have a great Skillset when it comes to anything to do with concrete as I have worked with it since a young age in all stages of concrete works including formwork poring and finishing
- I am very proficient in woodwork especially in regards to installing formwork or timber frame and stud walls I picked these skills up working for George gill and sons building new builds
- I am capable of using most if not nearly all power tools including cordless drills, SDS drills, Kango drill's cordless and chop saws and chainsaws I am also capable of mixing cement and concrete to a high quality
