Summary

My advertising career began at Ogilvy after finishing a degree in abnormal psychology. It has proven to be the perfect training for a career built on unconventional thinking and problem solving. I now have over twenty years experience and in that time I have been a part of, and led teams that have:

  • Created and built underwear that can convey touch over the internet for Durex.
  • Sold virtual patches of sky on Royal Flying Doctor’s routes to raise money for the organisation.
  • Moved the Mitsubishi car brand from number 6 to number 3.
  • Helped Virgin Mobile turn food pics on social media into real meals for people in need.
  • Wrote the 10th most emotional commercial of the year in the APAC region for Helga’s bread.
  • Gamified Virgin Mobile’s loyalty programme so that any telco users could play.
  • Achieved 2m+ views on YouTube in under 5 days for Sony cameras.
  • Shot a film with F1 greats Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso for Chandon wines.
  • Won over 70 international awards.
  • And had three children.

I have also worked at some of Australia’s best creative agencies during this time and owe a lot to some inspirational creative leaders that have helped foster and develop this style of thinking. It has also helped me win over 70 awards at the world’s most prestigious award shows including D&AD, Cannes, One Show, Clio, AWARD, The Webby’s and Spikes Asia. I have also had the privilege of being a juror at AWARD, Spikes Asia and the Brisbane Art Directors.In this time of information overload and political correctness it has never been more important to be abnormal. Outside of work

When I'm not working, writing or thinking or chasing after my three children, I love to be outdoors doing all kinds of activities. I have surfed and jogged all my life and have recently taken up mountain biking which I love.
