Accomplishments

  • Developing a Trans festival which has been running 3 years and growing bigger, ACON has stated that it is the largest Trans event in Australia of its kind, bringing together 2000+ trans and gender diverse people together.
  • Helping build a Not for Profit organisation for the trans community that has been recognised by being nominated for ACON awards in 2024
  • Developing Validation protocols to remediate ACM (Asbestos Contaminated Material), approved by EPA for Aggregate recovery and remediation with NSW (currently the accepted practice in remediating stockpiles in NSW).
  • Developing and implementing systems and processes to ensure compliance with Environmental Legislation and Regulations.
  • Being involved with EPA working groups to develop guidelines for waste streams such as the EPA and Industry leaders developing C&D Waste guidelines.
  • Developed Waste Management Strategies for Council 2017 to 2032, Waste Policies and Regional Strategies involving 5 Councils. (ISJO – Illawarra Shoalhaven Joint Organization).
  • Developing processes for compliance with Exemptions and Orders from the EPA regarding Organic processing. Including PFOS identification in organics.
  • Also assisting EPA in understanding PFOS contamination in Green Bin Organics being received for processing.
