Responsible for talent acquisition of Support Centre teams including Marketing, Merchandiser, Digital, Omni-Channel, Legal, Finance, and People & Culture business areas. Outside of BAU, some key achievements include:

  • Designed and delivered the 2025 Graduate Recruitment Campaign for Marketing and Merchandise graduates, including coordinating and facilitating an onsite Assessment Centre and online cognitive testing.
  • Created a training program for new people leaders on Inclusive Hiring; facilitating this to the pilot group as part of the Emerging Leaders program. Now an established training program running quarterly to capture all new people leaders.
  • Designed and developed an Inclusive Hiring policy as part of our Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging strategy.
  • Lead the Diversity of Thought stream of our DI&B Allyship at David Jones; championing diversity, inclusion and belonging throughout the recruitment journey for all applicants.
  • Played a lead role in the implementation of recruitment screening technology platform: Sapia AI, helping to mitigate unconscious bias and create an inclusive application process, enhancing the candidate experience for volume recruitment roles at support centre, also used for the Graduate recruitment campaign.
  • Contributed to the Inclusive Recruitment Review, including DI&B Data Collection, reviewing and updating policies and processes, imagery and language throughout the recruitment journey at David Jones, also introducing feedback surveys to cover all touch points throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Recruited and onboarded the business’s first dedicated Technology recruiter.
  • Managed the induction and training of new team members, as well as the development of direct reports.
  • Supported the Merchandise Leadership team with a redeployment exercise for impacted team members.
  • Represented David Jones at the International Women's Day lunch hosted by Australian Retail Association (ARA), as well as attending ARA’s Retail Awards with our Chief People Officer, where David Jones was nominated for DE&I Excellence.
