I have worked in the export seafreight industry for nearly twenty years & have extension knowledge in this area.
I also have quiet a vast knowledge of the tiling & metal roofing industry having worked in the area for over five years now as an office manager.
I have a willingness to learn & will strive to be my best at anything I set my mind to.
-All bookkeeping duties including quoting, invoicing, billing, payroll, BAS lodgements
-Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers & sub-contractors
-All operational duties including organising each job, sourcing supplies, ordering materials, delivery of materials.
-Advertising on social media including Facebook & Instagram. -Building reviews on various platforms including Facebook, Google, Truelocal, Word of Mouth.
This role involved handling all the daily export seafreight shipments from booking until invoicing for both FAK & FCL shipments. This included the following:-
-taking bookings from customers & providing expert advice on the logistic processes, documentation, inspections & other shipping questions that may arise
-arranging pick up of cargo, if necessary
-booking and arranging collection of empty container with carriers/shipping lines.
-coordinating the packing of the container/containers which involved sending load lists to the depot
-preparing and/or processing export declarations, if required
-preparing and issuing house bills of lading for each shipment
-preparing and/or sending relevant documents to carrier/shipping line
-preparing and/or sending advice notifications of shipment and other documents to overseas agents, shippers or consignees as required
