  • - looking after level 3 and 2 patients on invasive ventilation and non invasive ventilation as part of respiratory support
  • - care of patients on tracheostomies as part of long term respiratory rehabilitation among many other reasons
  • - assisting doctors in intubating patients and setting up ventilators for use
  • - looking after patients on cardiovascular support and inotropes such as noradrenaline, adrenaline, dobutamine, vasopressin, metaraminol and more
  • - setting up and monitoring patients on arterial and central venous catheters
  • - monitoring and assessing cardiovascular support using picco monitoring and lidco monitoring
  • - setting up and looking after patients on hemofiltration as part of renal support
  • - management of sedated patients in itu on drugs like propofol, fentanyl, remifentanil, midazolam, clonidine, dexmedetomidine and many more
  • - management of neurological states for patients using methods like gcs, cam icu scoring and rass scoring
