Night Shift

• Selected as part of a 15 man crew from 230 electricians for night shift works, to ensure the job progressed at an increased rate and more goals are achieved.
• Underground and Civil works - Conduit and EV Pit Install. Light pole building, installing cages and concrete pours, wiring and commissioning. Comms pits
• Cable Hauling - Measuring, slinging and hauling cable.
• Substation works - Installing cable tray and unistrut. Termination of Switchboards, cutting gland plates, testing and commissioning of Switchboards.
• Buildings - Installing catenary wire, plates, nogs, and cable tray. Rough in of LV, Data and Security. Fit off Lights, Power, Data and Security Cameras as per plan. Testing and commissioning.

• Residential electrical work on new houses and renovations
• Planned and installed complicated circuit systems in residential construction.
• Placed and installed safety systems and set up emergency lighting, uninterruptible power systems and battery systems.
• Worked in remote areas around QLD supplying temporary power to camp sites, roughing in new mains cables, upgrading switchboards to current standards.
• Extensive fault finding of electrical circuits, DC and AC batteries, and inverters.

• Lead Electrician with over 4 years experience running domestic/light commercial rough in and fit offs, and installing PV and Battery systems
• Upgrade and relocation of single/three phase switchboards.
• Wiring generators and UPS systems in rural areas to ensure PV and Battery installations continue to run without grid power.
• Installing various monitoring systems such as; Smart Meters, Solar Analytics, Catch powers, and Hot Water Management Relays.
• Use of machinery (trenchers and dingos) to lay single and three phase AC cables and data cables.
• Test and commissioning of every system installed.
• Directed electricians on installation, maintenance and repair on electrical wiring and equipment.
