Dear Coco,

I would be delighted to provide a reference for you.

My racing stable is located at Thoroughbred Park, Lyneham and I have 15 to 25 horses in work at any one time. Coco has worked for me as a casual employee for approximately 2 years.

Coco is an integral part of my team and provides assistance to me in overseeing the morning work program. This includes saddling, washing and swimming horses dependent on individual exercise requirements.

Coco is aware of the daily habits and traits of each horse and is able to detect changes in their eating or general wellbeing. This is critical when operating a successful training stable. Regular feedback from all members of my team is necessary to allow me to adjust work programs as injury or fitness issues arise. Coco is a passionate horse lover and like me, wants every horse in my stable to reach their full potential.

Coco's attendance and punctuality is to be commended for someone her age. She displays maturity beyond her years. Coco thrives on responsibility and is able to prioritise according to her workload.

I would be happy to elaborate further on any of the points above and would recommend her to a future employer.

Regards, Rob potter racing

To whom it may concern,

This letter is for a character reference for Coco Guenther. This letter reflects my personal opinion and professional assessment of Coco’s abilities and character as a social worker who specialises in working with young people.

I have known Coco for approximately 10 years, and during the last 3 years, i have come to know Coco well. Coco is a close family friend and neighbour to me.

During our time together, Coco has cared for our pets and property when we have been away and spent time with myself and my family on several occasions. Coco, I believe, would be an asset to any workplace. Coco is a hard worker, growing up on a property in Murrumbateman, working with horses and learning from a young age the importance of respect, determination, teamwork and commitment to the job at hand.

Coco is a great communicator, is able to communicate with people of all ages as demonstrated when she has been at our property engaging with people from all ages;demonstrating further her maturity and skills in sitting with different ages and needs with ease, and ability to build positive connections with a range of people she meets.

Coco’s commitment to her health and wellbeing, her sporting and academic achievements are also well beyond her years and demonstrate that when Coco is motivated and committed to achieve her goals (for example, her ability to be waking up early and training previously for rowing several times a week, whilst going to school and following through with other work/study/life commitments), and is a great role model for others to achieve theirs.

Coco is a mature young woman who is respectful to others, highly capable to complete tasks with or without supervision, is intelligent, motivated and empowers others to be their best selves. Coco has always treated our home (and the animals and people within it) with respect and courtesy; and is a joy to be around.

If I had a job to offer Coco, I would without hesitation. Coco can be trusted, is reliable and has a strong combination of skills that would be an asset to any workplace.

If you have any queries regarding this letter. Please feel free to contact me further.

Kind Regards,

Amy Lopez (nee Butler)
