Summary

I have spent the last 6 years within National Parks in Richmond River area. During this time I believe I have adhered too and implement NPWS standards and delivered excellent results.


During my time in my role I have faced many different highs and lows and learnt to adapt too a constantly changing and fluid work environment. Some of the major events include the 2019-2020 fire season, the COVID epidemic and the floods that ravaged our area in 2023. These 3 things alone are something that came with many different and unique challenges.


One of my strong skills are the management of people and learning how to get the best results with the team I have. With this skill I have been able to deliver works and implement controls that allow projects to be completed to a professional industry standard.


I am able to run complex jobs that involve numerous different contractors and colleagues. Effective communication and clear concise delegation. this skill extends into sharing knowledge, mentoring and team cohesion.


I have had 8 months acting in the Senior Field Officer role over the past 16 months and believe I have done an exceptional job with the different and at times complex tasks and reactionary works that have arisen. This is all while learning new systems and implementing a strong safety culture within my team.
