Duties Included:

- Stock handling, moving and loading

- Maintenance of fencing

- Recording stock weights

- Assisting in the transport of cattle

- Daily water trough checks

- Weed spraying

- Operating farm machinery

After the initial induction and training process, all afternoon milking was my individual responsibility. Through this I developed my skills further in time management, responsibility, workplace safety, calm stock management practises, animal welfare and ensuring an efficient milking.

Duties included:

- Set up of milking equipment

- Retrieval of the heard and movement to the milking plant

- Conducting the milking process

- Moving the cows back out to the paddock

- Feeding the cows

- Thorough clean up of all plant and milking equipment

- Checking the Vat and ensuring proper functioning.

Duties Included:

- Afternoon cleanup of equipment and store show cases.

- Preparation for efficient store opening for the following day

- Disposal of rubbish

- Greeting customers.

Duties Included:

- Shovelling of concrete

- Assisting where needed for the pouring of slabs

- Clean up of tools and equipment

Duties Included:

- Afternoon cleaning down of shop display showcases

- Greeting customers and customer service

- Helping to set up for quick and efficient opening for the following day

- Offering support wherever needed for smooth operation of business.
