I became an assistant dance teacher for Yarra Heights Dance Academy through the Dance Step program. I currently teach two classes of children aged 6-11. I am not payed for this role and i am expected o complete a workbook in accordance to my level. Through this I have learnt;

- to keep up a friendly attitude and show patience and care when talking to others in a workspace

-to preform tasks efficiently and helping others when possible.


- to assist with setting up rooms and retrieving boxes of costumes when instructed.


- safety and health guidelines to avoid injury and inform students fully on risks associated with dance.
